All codes and specs. are dutifully and diligently followed by

Premier Builders.

1.   2” x 10” ledger attached to structure with either 5/8 Lag bolts for Wood Structures or  5/8 Anchor bolts required for Brick Structures.
   

2.  One Fastener is required for every joist cavity.
   

3.  2” x 10” Joist with Hangers required.
   

4.  2” x 12” stair stringers required. (with 3 stringers on every run)
   

5.  a 3’ x 3’ landing is required if stair run exceeds 10 steps.
   

6.  2” x 12” stair Treads are required.
   

7.  1” x 8” risers required.
   

8.  2” x 12” Double Headers with Carriage Bolts through Header and Headers    supported by 5” x 7” Angle Brackets with 2 - 1 “ bolts.
   

9.  Angle Bracket at each Rail End required
   

10.  Railings are 42” high and placed 2 inches above decking to prevent entrapment.
    

11.  2” x 4” or 2” x 6” Railing systems
    

12.  4” x 4” placed in Rail line if span is greater than 6 feet.
    

13.  5/4 decking material required
    

14.  6” x 6” columns in base plate on a 12” by 42” deep concrete pier required
    

15.  5 carriage bolts where 6” x 6” columns splice to make a connection.
    

16.  NO MENARDS or HOME DEPOT lumber. It is not Kiln Dried. It twists, warps, and cracks.
    

17.  All Lumber is Kiln Dried Select Pressure Treated Pine.
    

18.  All Fasteners are galvanized steel.
    

19.  All Brackets are Simpson brand, which is Required by city.
    

20.  All Rails Treads Spindles and Decking are screwed in with coated deck screws.
